Fellowship Description:
Support Surplus Indonesia's regional growth by researching Southeast Asian markets, food waste policies, retail and FMCG landscapes, and potential market entry opportunities. The fellow will analyze market trends, identify strategic partners, benchmark competitors, and prepare concise reports to support the company's expansion strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
-Conduct market research across Southeast Asia.
-Analyze food waste regulations and sustainability policies.
-Identify retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and ecosystem partners.
-Benchmark competitors and circular economy startups.
-Prepare market opportunity reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
-Background in Business, Economics, International -Development, Public Policy, Sustainability, or related fields.
-Strong research and analytical skills.
-Excellent English writing skills.
-Experience with market research is preferred.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple research tasks.
Time Commitment: 20-25 hours per week
