Regen Network
Registry Support AI Agent Training
About the Organization
Regen Network is a platform and community focused on creating an ecological economy using blockchain and remote sensing technology. It provides tools and a marketplace to enable land stewards to value and trade ecological assets, like carbon and biodiversity credits, and allows corporations to support these projects. By using a distributed ledger and modern remote sensing, Regen Network aims to create a transparent and auditable system for monitoring ecological state and encouraging regenerative practices worldwide.
Fellowship Description:
This position will play a key role in preparing, training, and testing Regen Network’s emerging Developer Support AI Agent, which is being built to guide project developers, answer FAQs, and provide structured next steps. This internship focuses on analyzing historic and incoming developer inquiries, organizing data for model training, supporting quality assurance on early agent prototypes, and helping inform the public-facing launch of the tool.
This role sits at the intersection of registry operations, product development, and communications, offering hands-on experience in applied AI systems for climate and ecological markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Gathering & Analysis of Developer Inquiries
Collect, clean, and categorize historic and incoming developer inquiries (emails, forms, CRM notes).
Identify inquiry types, user segments (newcomer vs. experienced), and primary goals such as methodology development or project registration.
Surface patterns in common questions, confusion points, and market interests.
Document trends that may inform methodology development, partnerships, or new offerings.
2. Training Data Preparation for the AI Support Agent
Organize inquiry/response pairs from the past 3+ months of documented interactions.
Structure content into labeled examples for intent classification, guidance pathways, and FAQ responses.
Assist in building or refining the agent’s knowledge base (Program Guide, protocol library, Builder Lab resources, templates, FAQs).
Flag gaps in documentation that need updating before being integrated into the training set.
3. Testing & Evaluating Early Versions of the AI Agent
Conduct scenario-based testing of the agent to assess clarity, helpfulness, and accuracy of guidance.
Compare model outputs to expected developer next steps (e.g., joining Builder Lab, submitting concept notes).
Log failure cases, misclassifications, and missing resources.
Help improve escalation logic for high-value or strategic inquiries.
4. Feedback Loops & Iteration Support
Provide structured feedback to the product and engineering teams.
Track improvements across versions and ensure responses meet quality standards.
Assist in refining conversational flows for different user types (newcomers vs. experienced developers).
5. Light Marketing, Messaging & Launch Support
Prepare clear external-facing guidance materials (blog posts, FAQs, user walkthroughs) to explain what the agent does and how to use it.
Support comms and marketing teams with insights into common developer questions for better outward messaging.
Help draft language for the launch announcement, early user instructions, and feedback collection forms.
Monitor early user interactions to identify onboarding friction or confusion.
Qualifications:
Required
Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to process qualitative and quantitative inquiry data.
Clear written communication suitable for technical and external audiences.
Interest in AI systems, climate tech, digital MRV, or carbon markets.
Comfort analyzing patterns in text-based data (emails, questions, support threads).
Ability to collaborate across product, registry, and communications teams.
Preferred
Coursework or experience in data analysis, environmental science, sustainability, or product development.
Familiarity with regenerative agriculture, carbon project development, or environmental integrity standards.
Experience with chatbots, AI tools, or customer support systems (a plus but not required).
Experience drafting content for external audiences—blogs, FAQs, or documentation.
Understanding of user experience or conversational design.
Time Commitment: 10-15 hours / week
