Position Description:
As a Graphic Design Intern at Oorja, you will play a key role in supporting the Communications team by creating engaging, high-quality visual content for social media and promotional campaigns.
Your designs will help promote Oorja's services, tell our story, amplify our impact, and connect with all our stakeholders.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company’s growth by enhancing brand visibility and supporting outreach efforts that drive awareness, partnerships, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Design high-quality graphics for Oorja’s ongoing social media campaigns and communication needs (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
Create visually appealing posters, banners, infographics, brochures, and other promotional content for internal and external use.
Collaborate with the Communications team to bring design ideas to life and maintain
Schedule social media posts across multiple platforms
Desired Qualifications:
Proficient in design tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma
Strong understanding of layout, colour theory, typography, and visual hierarchy
Prior experience in designing for social media and using scheduling tools is a plus
Eye for detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Good communication skills and openness to feedback
Bonus: Knowledge of basic animation (GIFs, motion graphics), video editing tools (like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut) is a plus
