Climatize
Growth Marketing Fellow
About the Organization:
Climatize makes it incredibly simple to invest in renewable energy projects across the US while potentially earning up to 12.75% annually. Having successfully raised over $19,500,000 for renewable energy projects since our launch in May 2023, we're expanding our marketing team and seeking a growth marketing fellow to help accelerate our customer acquisition. Our mission is to generate $1 Billion per year of new investments in renewable energy by 2030 while the vision is to build a global network for climate finance. Media features include among Fast Company's 2024 World Changing Ideas Company of the Year, The Wall Street Journal & Forbes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, document, and iterate on core growth loops across acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. Own hands-on execution of growth experiments end to end, including hypothesis creation, experiment design, implementation, measurement, and iteration. Work closely with product and engineering to improve onboarding flows, UX, and conversion funnels based on data insights. Analyze user behavior using tools such as Mixpanel, Segment, GA4, and SEO and AEO tooling to identify drop-offs and growth opportunities. Build and maintain dashboards and lightweight reporting to track funnel performance, cohort behavior, and experiment results. Contribute to SEO and emerging AEO strategies, including content structure, technical optimization, and experimentation with AI-driven discovery channels. Identify and pursue creative, out-of-the-box growth opportunities that align with Climatize’s mission and compliance constraints. Document learnings, experiments, and playbooks so growth insights compound over time.
What we’re looking for:
You have a high attention to detail, you are analytical and creative, with a strong bias toward action. You enjoy working with data but are equally excited to translate insights into real-world experiments. You are comfortable being hands-on, moving quickly, and testing ideas in ambiguous environments. You see growth as a system, not a set of tactics, and enjoy mapping how users move through products, content, and experiences. You are energized by experimentation, learning, and iteration, and you are motivated by working on meaningful problems in climate and clean energy.
Qualifications:
Basic:
Experience working with data and analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Segment, GA4, or similar platforms.
Demonstrated ability to run growth or product experiments, including defining success metrics and analyzing results.
Strong analytical thinking with comfort working in spreadsheets, dashboards, or lightweight data models.
Sufficient technical fluency to work hands-on with tools, tracking setups, CMSs, or no-code platforms.
Clear written communication skills, especially for documenting experiments, insights, and growth loops.
Interest in startups, growth marketing, product-led growth, or early-stage company environments.
Very high attention to detail.
Preferred:
Prior experience designing or documenting growth loops, funnels, or lifecycle journeys.
Exposure to SEO and AEO concepts, including keyword research, content optimization, and search performance analysis.
UX or product experience, such as improving onboarding, activation flows, or conversion paths.
Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, or cohort analysis. Experience working in climate, fintech, marketplaces, or regulated industries. Demonstrated creativity in identifying non-obvious growth channels or partnerships. Previous fellowship, internship, or early-career role in growth, product, analytics, or marketing.
Very high attention to detail.
Time Commitment: 30 hours per week
