Fellow for Mapping Fundraising Landscape for Pollinate

About the Organization:

Pollinate Group empowers marginalised women as entrepreneurs so they can earn an income, learn valuable skills, and step into leadership roles. The ripple effect of this change helps lift generations out of poverty and ensures communities have increased resources and are resilient to the impacts of climate change. We have a powerful impact model that works at the intersection of poverty, gender and climate to empower lives sustainably.

Since our founding in 2012, we’ve reached almost 943,000 people across India and Nepal and empowered more than 2550 women to bring positive change to their communities. Our network is committed to reaching the communities nobody else will.

At Pollinate, our team identifies, trains, and develops local women entrepreneurs in urban and rural communities to serve their peers living on less than US$2.15 daily. Through our Micro Entrepreneurship training program, women entrepreneurs gain business skills and financial literacy to serve their communities through the products impacting their lives and communities. Our goal is for women entrepreneurs to earn respect and meaningful income and act as role models who raise awareness about products that improve health, save money and save time.

Our training model is based on the journey of a woman entrepreneur from when she is first recruited to the final stage, where she is on a journey to financial independence and has the technical skills to undertake her business operations independently.
