Trillion Trees
Research/Writer and Content Fellow
About the organization:
Trillion Trees is a joint venture between BirdLife International, Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and WWF to urgently speed up and scale up the positive power of forests. Our work helps protect and restore forests all over the world for the benefit of people, nature and climate. Our projects focus on recovering and regrowing native and natural forests. We take a landscape-based approach, looking for opportunities to improve livelihoods and address the underlying drivers of deforestation. This ensures our efforts make a difference to people’s lives, a lasting contribution to reducing carbon in the atmosphere and preserve critical biodiversity.

The primary role of the research and content fellow will be to write an evidence-based, technical report on the challenges and solutions of delivering high quality forest landscape restoration. This will involve gathering and processing information through a literature review and desk research, combined with sourcing evidence from Trillion Trees projects in our landscapes. In addition, the fellow will help draft written content for marketing purposes - for example blogs, factsheets, press releases and social media posts.
