Fellowship Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy fellow to develop a comprehensive business plan for Lumara (seaweed derived skincare) as it moves toward commercialization. In this role, you will work closely with Symbrosia’s business team to assess market potential, evaluate competitive landscapes, and define a scalable go-to-market strategy for this secondary product line.

Responsibilities
-Conduct market research on the skincare and bioactives sectors, focusing on demand for seaweed-derived polysaccharides
-Build financial models to evaluate pricing, unit economics, manufacturing scale-up, and long-term profitability
-Map competitive positioning and identify key differentiators for Lumara in the clean beauty and functional skincare markets
-Define customer personas, distribution channels, and brand positioning recommendations
-Develop a full business plan including market entry strategy, operational requirements, risk assessment, and projected ROI
-Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and leadership to incorporate technical data and product performance insights
-Support special projects related to regulatory requirements, supply chain planning, and partnerships


Qualifications:

-Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an MBA or related business program; advanced undergraduate business students may also qualify
-Strong analytical, financial modeling, and market research capabilities
-Interest in skincare, bio-based products, sustainability, or blue economy innovations
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced, early-stage product environment
-Prior experience in consumer product strategy, go-to-market planning, or the startup world is a plus
