Fellowship Description:
The Communication Officer Fellow will support the organization’s internal and external communication strategies to enhance visibility, engagement, and impact. The fellow will be responsible for managing social media platforms, creating compelling content (graphics, articles, newsletters), documenting program activities, and supporting branding initiatives. They will also assist in storytelling by capturing beneficiary experiences and translating program outcomes into engaging communication materials for stakeholders, partners, and donors.
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with social media management and digital content creation
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite is an added advantage)
Ability to tell impactful stories and translate data into engaging narratives
Interest in nonprofit/NGO work and community development
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Time Commitment: 30 hours / week
