Fellowship Description:

Key Responsibilities
1. Workplace Safety & Training Review
-Identify required safety and compliance trainings for ElectricFish operations
-Complete applicable trainings and assess quality and relevance
-Create a structured list of recommended trainings for different internal roles
-Develop a centralized training roadmap for employees

2. Internal Training Dashboard Development
-Design and build simple internal dashboards or lightweight websites for tracking training completion
-Enable employees to view required trainings by role
-Create a clean, intuitive interface for safety documentation access

3. PPE Inventory & Protocol Development
-Conduct a facility wide audit of PPE inventory, document storage locations and accessibility
-Develop clear protocols for PPE maintenance, inspection, and usage
-Standardize floor level PPE wearing procedures, and Create visual guides or signage recommendations

4. Inventory Management Systems
-Create a structured inventory management protocol, build and maintain a master inventory list
-Define reorder thresholds and tracking workflows
-Improve transparency and accountability across equipment storage

Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly organized, technically curious intern to support workplace safety systems, PPE management, and internal training infrastructure. This role blends operations, engineering support, and lightweight software or dashboard development. You will work closely with our engineering and deployment teams to help formalize safety processes and build tools that improve internal efficiency.

Preferred Background and Experience
-Familiarity with PPE usage for high voltage battery systems
-Understanding of PPE requirements for mechanical apparatus and EV drivetrain
-Experience managing inventory using Google Sheets or similar tools
-Interest in power systems, EV infrastructure, or energy storage


Time Commitment: 30 hours / week
