Sustainability Communications & Compliance Fellow

Flint Labs is a climate deep-tech company developing safer and more sustainable battery technologies.
Fellowship Description:
The sustainability communications & compliance intern will work with Flint Labs’ Head of Sustainability & Compliance on projects covering sustainability reporting, product transparency, greenhouse gas accounting, and battery regulatory research.
Key responsibilities include:
• Design and develop Flint's Annual Sustainability Report, including layouts, infographics, illustrations, charts, and visual storytelling.
• Create engaging sustainability communication materials for customers, partners, investors, and digital platforms.
• Assist in developing Flint Labs' product sustainability and compliance initiatives in line with EU battery and sustainability regulations.
• Assist with greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations and sustainability data collection to support sustainability reporting.
• Conduct research on sustainability trends, reporting standards, regulations, awards, grants, and industry best practices.
• Support other sustainability and communications projects as required.
Qualifications:
• Current undergraduate or postgraduate student, or recent graduate in communications, graphic design, sustainability, environmental science, environmental engineering, materials science, business, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability, climate technology, circular economy, design, or storytelling through coursework, projects, extracurriculars, or previous experience.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly. • Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design tools is an advantage, but not required.
Time Commitment: 20 hours per week
