Hello, my name is Angela Marcos, and I am a rising senior at Cornell University studying Environmental Sciences with a minor in Food Systems. My academic and professional experiences have led me to focus on community outreach and environmental education. During my time at Cornell, I have supported environmental education initiatives at the Bronx River Foodway and contributed to the development of a literature review for the Coastal Solutions Fellowship at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong interest in using environmental education as a tool to advance equity and support underrepresented communities. As I continue my studies and professional development, I hope to help create more accessible and inclusive opportunities for environmental engagement.
