Riya Dhar (she/her) recently completed a M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. In 2024, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park. Riya has previously interned with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Green Building Council, and the Office of U.S. Representative Kweisi Mfume. Passionate about clean energy and the built environment, she aims to shape equitable, evidence-based solutions at the intersection of government, industry, and communities. This fall, Riya joins ElectricFish Energy, Inc. as a Grantwriting and Proposals Fellow to help deliver on ElectricFish’s mission of deploying distributed energy infrastructure to tackle climate change by leveraging grantwriting, research, and project management skills.
