Samuel Gebrekirstos is a recent graduate of Mekelle University in Ethiopia, where he studied Software Engineering, and now works as a full-stack developer based in Addis Ababa. His experience spans building and deploying full-stack applications with Vue, React, Next.js, Node.js, Nest.js, and PostgreSQL, along with hands-on work customizing ERP systems and managing data-driven client projects from requirements through deployment. Across these projects, he has focused on designing practical, well-structured systems that make information easier to organize, access, and act on. He is especially interested in how thoughtful data infrastructure can support organizations working on climate and sustainability challenges, which is what drew him to the Constellations Fellowship. He is excited to join BlueGea Group to help centralize and structure the company's data, and hopes to bring what he learns back home to apply toward similar challenges in Ethiopia. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring fashion, practicing meditation, and traveling to historical places around the world. He is currently open to full-stack development opportunities, particularly with Vue, React, Next.js, Node.js, Nest.js, and PostgreSQL. He is looking forward to learning from this fellowship and contributing wherever he can.
