Priscilla Ama Forson

Priscilla Ama Forson is a Ghanaian sustainability and development professional with an MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of St Andrews and a BA in English and Political Science from the University of Ghana. She has experience in research, communications, and advocacy, having previously worked with the Institute for African Women in Law on gender justice initiatives including the Women in Law and Leadership (WILL) project and the Gender Equality in Law Campaign (GELC), and with GH5050 on its Global Justice Report. She is currently a Land, Water and Food Justice Fellow with the World Council of Churches.

Her interests span environmental and gender justice, circular economy and waste reduction, and the social dimensions of climate resilience, particularly as they concern women and marginalized communities.

Through this fellowship, she hopes to deepen her knowledge of environmental sustainability issues and build practical, hands-on skills in climate and development work. She looks forward to learning from and alongside a diverse cohort of fellows and host organisations working across this space.
