Julia Schaefer (She/Her) uses communication and media relations to increase access to affordable, sustainable energy. She is a 2024 graduate from Heidelberg University, where she studied English and Integrated Media. Her undergraduate research studied international pro-social behaviors toward sustainable initiatives. After an early career in newspaper journalism, Julia worked for utility solar developer, building a coalition through strategic communication and local outreach. Julia is passionate about building community resiliency in her home state of Ohio, and around the country.
