Muhammad Jayadi
Muhammad Jayadi (he/him) is currently pursuing a Master of Geomatics for Environmental Management at the University of British Columbia. His interests and work focus on applying remote sensing and spatial analysis to environmental management, conservation, and climate-related challenges. Muhammad started his career in forestry, gaining firsthand experience in forest management and the practical applications of geospatial technology. As part of his master's studies, he is developing an automated landscape analysis workflow aimed at streamlining how potential forest carbon project areas are assessed by integrating geospatial data into a standardized and scalable process. Through the Constellations Fellowship, Muhammad hopes to build on his geospatial expertise while contributing to the development of sustainable aquaculture solutions. As a GIS & Seaweed Farm Site Selection Fellow at Symbrosia, he is developing a site selection model to identify and evaluate potential locations for land-based seaweed cultivation.
