Carolina Tizeba

Carolina Adrian Tizeba (She/Her) is a highly accomplished lawyer and policy expert with extensive experience in the extractive sector.

Her career spans legal, policy advocacy, and governance advisory roles, with a strong focus on climate change, critical and strategic minerals, monitoring and evaluation, and the extractive industry in general.
Carolina is especially passionate about advancing just energy transitions, promoting good governance in natural resource management, and ensuring equitable policy outcomes. She is driven by the belief that legal and policy frameworks should empower communities and support sustainable development.

Her academic background includes an LLM in International Mineral Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania, and a Bachelor of Laws from Ruaha Catholic University. Carolina has received several awards, including a Commonwealth Scholarship to study at the University of Dundee, and has contributed to numerous publications and research papers in her field.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Carolina is deeply committed to community service, charity work, and cultural exploration. She also has a passion for reading, which continually fuels her intellectual curiosity and personal growth.
