Veronica Wanjiku Mburu (she/her) is a Product Development Fellow at Ecomobilus (AutoTruck East Africa Ltd), where she supports the design of sustainable mobility and circular economy solutions to advance low-carbon transport systems in East Africa. She holds a BEng (Hons) in Electrical Power Systems Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University in partnership with the African Leadership College. Veronica currently serves as an I ACT Peer Educator under the Italy–IRENA Action for Climate Toolkit (I ACT) initiative, where she promotes youth capacity-building on renewable energy transitions and climate literacy. She represented Kenya at the IRENA Youth Forum 2025, contributing to global dialogue on equitable energy access. Her policy and research interests focus on climate governance, decentralized energy systems, and frameworks that enable inclusive participation in Africa’s sustainable transition.
