Levi Nells

Levi Lee Nells is a Diné (Navajo) he/him and a proud tribal member of the Navajo Nation which serves his career as a remarkable conservation advocate and professional guide who protects our greatest natural resource of all, our ancestral tribal lands. He is driven to intimately understand the ever changing world of social climate justice so he may navigate the execution of the imminent crucial intervention that will make our future cleaner and more energy sovereign. He believes that the traditional teachings of indigenous culture and way of life is vital to living and building a cleaner world dedicated to balanced sustainability. As a Fort Lewis College alumni and founding member of the Four Corners Climbing Community Center (FCCC), his Adventure Education bachelor's is used to increase opportunity for indigenous youth to resources and opportunity in the outdoor community of Southwest Colorado. He has an incredible array of experience from conducting lab research on wildlife rehabilitation from wildfires in New Mexico to participating in Peruvian river based youth initiatives that aim for solidarity in the prevention of damming the Marañón River. The Marañón River Collective dedicates its efforts to eliminate the threat of decimation to thousands of river centered indigenous communities and their cultures native to northern Peru. Levi is more than ambitious to be taught alongside such a renowned group of prestigious fellows as a candidate for the 2025 Constellations Cohort that fights to facilitate the next generation of zealous climate leaders in renewable energy.
