Ana Olmedo Romero

I’m Ana Olmedo (she/her), a Mexican professional passionate about the intersection of gender equality and environmental justice. I hold a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Central European University in Vienna and a diploma from the International School on Climate Mobilities. Before my graduate studies, I worked at the National Democratic Institute, where I supported gender programs advancing women’s political participation and addressing violence against women in politics and media. My work seeks to bridge critical research with practice, focusing on decolonial approaches to climate and environmental justice, and the defense of territory. I’m particularly interested in strengthening inclusive communication that connects global climate action with urban realities.
