Vanessa Rossetti

Vanessa Rossetti (she/her) is a Brazilian sustainability professional dedicated to advancing climate governance, ESG integration, and just transition in the Global South. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a postgraduate specialization in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) & Corporate Sustainability. Currently, as an ESG Consultant, she leads multi-sector dialogues and multi-stakeholder projects aligning Brazilian agribusinesses with international sustainability standards. She has also contributed to political research at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP) and to climate advocacy at the Political Action Network for Sustainability (RAPS Brasil), where she led two projects recognized by the Human Rights and Diversity Secretariat of São Paulo, hosted a workshop for over 40 Brazilian legislators on SDG integration into policymaking, and helped mobilize more than 10 Brazilian cities to implement local climate legislation. Growing up surrounded by the Atlantic Forest, Vanessa became passionate about cross-sector collaboration to advance sustainable development locally. Beyond her professional work, she is a Climate Reality Leader and a member of the 2025 Global Youth Climate Training (GYCT) cohort. She volunteers with the Rotary Club, her city’s Environmental Council, and the UN Foundation’s Our Future Agenda community, promoting climate action and community engagement.
