Buket Gurbuz

Buket Gurbuz is an Architect (B.Arch), and is currently based in Italy, where she is completing an M.Sc. in Building Engineering for Sustainability at Politecnico di Milano. Her professional expertise focuses on building sustainability, energy efficiency, and decarbonisation. She brings a technical foundation in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and building performance simulation.

Recently, she has been working on policy analysis for regulations and legislation regarding building decarbonisation. This has led to an interest in paving the way towards sustainability policies and compliance from a broader perspective. Moving from building-level decarbonisation toward product-level sustainability, she is keen to apply LCA methodology and regulatory analysis to product compliance.

As a Sustainability & Compliance Fellow at Flint Labs through the Constellations Fellowship by Climate Curve, she will focus on product sustainability compliance, through the analysis of regulatory requirements and legislation. She aims to build practical experience in translating regulatory requirements into clear, verifiable compliance work.
