Brian Kinyanjui is a data journalist based in Nairobi, Kenya. His work centers on creating platform-native content across sustainability areas including fast fashion, environmental pollution, organic beauty, and the energy sector across Africa. He is driven by a focus on development challenges on the continent and how they are communicated, understood, and addressed. Brian sees multimedia storytelling, especially through video and digital tools, as a growing space for solving communication gaps in Africa’s development landscape. He is an alumnus of the University of Nairobi and has held roles at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, the University of Nairobi TV and Radio Channel, Statice Health, and most recently Continent Rising.
