Alicia Fritz

Alicia Maria Fritz (she/her/ella) is a recent graduate of Arizona State University, where she earned a Master of Science in Complex Systems Science, following a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a certificate in Data Analysis. Her academic and research interests focus on complex social systems, particularly at the intersection of environmental and social justice and community decision-making processes.

Her professional experience spans higher education and nonprofit sectors, with a strong emphasis on project management, data analysis, and community-centered program development. She previously served as a STEAM Project Manager, where she led and expanded science and technology programming designed to support historically underserved student populations. She also worked as a Data Analyst with Arizonans for a Clean Economy, where she conducted large-scale data cleaning and analysis of more than 400,000 voter records to identify key outreach opportunities supporting clean energy candidates for local utility board elections.

Alicia is passionate about strengthening programs and systems that serve communities while advancing equity and environmental sustainability. She is committed to using data-driven insights, interdisciplinary research, and collaborative engagement to support communities most impacted by systemic inequities and climate change. Through her fellowship with Educated Choices Program as a Data Analyst, she will collaborate with the organization’s team to evaluate the impact of their food education initiatives designed to empower individuals and communities to make informed, sustainable food choices.
