Yashwanth Sai Arukuti is a recent graduate from the University of North Texas with a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence. He is passionate about using AI to solve practical problems and make information more accessible. During graduate school, that passion led him to research privacy risks in training large language models (LLMs), exploring how collaborative AI systems can learn while protecting sensitive data. He presented his research at UNT Research Day, an experience that further strengthened his interest in building AI that is both practical and trustworthy.

His interests span Generative AI, Agentic AI systems, Intelligent information retrieval, and trustworthy AI. As an AI Integration Fellow with SubjectToClimate through the Climate Curve Constellations Fellowship, he is excited to help develop AI-powered tools that make climate education resources more accessible for educators. He sees this opportunity as a way to combine his technical background with work that creates meaningful social impact.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and staying up to date with emerging technologies. He looks forward to learning from fellow cohort members, collaborating with mission-driven organizations, and contributing to the future of AI for climate education.
