Pamela Franklin
Methane Expert & Former Chief, Methane Partnerships Branch at U.S. EPA
Pamela Franklin is a methane and climate policy specialist with more than two decades of experience translating science into real-world emissions reductions. She spent the majority of her career at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where she led the Methane Partnerships Branch and designed voluntary corporate methane programs across the oil & gas, waste, and coal sectors.
Pamela has represented the United States in international climate forums including the World Bank, UNEP, the Climate and Clean Air Coalition, and the Global Methane Initiative, and served as a Lead Author of the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories, recognized for contributions to the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
She holds a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, an M.S.E. from Stanford, and a B.S.E. from Princeton.
