Mamta Mehra, PhD is a climate and food systems researcher with over 15 years of experience advancing regenerative agriculture, land use, and community-led climate solutions in India and globally. She brings deep expertise in scientific climate modelling and systems-level analysis.
As a Senior Fellow and land and food sector lead at Project Drawdown, she supported the modelling of high-impact climate solutions across regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, grasslands, oceans, and food systems, including methane mitigation strategies across agriculture, livestock, and waste sectors. She is a co-author of the New York Times bestselling book Drawdown.
Mamta is Co-founder of Regenerative Intelligence (RegenIntel), where she develops integrated, evidence-based frameworks to scale regenerative food systems and nature-based solutions as well as lead the Education Program on Regenerative System of Solutions. She serves as an advisor to climate-tech startups and sustainability initiatives and has been a Senior Reviewer for the Keeling Curve Prize since 2020.
